WELCOME!

We’re so you glad you joined us for this Teaser/Fundraiser. At WTF, we truly believe that we can create a professional and positive space for the future of puppetry, bouffon, clown and drag in Toronto and this is just the start.

Over the course of the past TWO years, we have worked on getting this festival going, and to see it in action this weekend brings us so much joy. This stuff matters to us, in a way little else does.

In fact, for us, ‘WTF’ isn’t just a slogan, it’s a way of life! Our goal is to bring off-beat, off-kilter and off-the-menu entertainment to Toronto’s fun seekers. And that’s where you come in! If you know of anyone who like their shows weird, wild and wonderful, tell them about us.

Make sure to stay tuned to hear more about our other upcoming programming, as well as the launch of our FULL festival next year.

We can’t thank you enough for taking a chance on WTF and hope you have a great time!

- Alicia DiStefano & Byron Laviolette

What The Festival recognizes that many Indigenous Nations have long standing relationships with the territories upon which we are gathering this evening. We acknowledge our presence and privilege to create, perform and share in the area known as Tkaronto, which has been care-taken by the Anishinabek Nation, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and the Huron-Wendat. It is now home to many First Nation, Inuit and Métis communities. We acknowledge the current treaty holders, the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. This territory is subject of the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement to peaceably share and care for the Great Lakes region.
